Job summary

Early Learning Corps is seeking an Early Learning Tutor to support pre-kindergarten students in building early literacy and math skills. You’ll work with a teacher, deliver proven activities, and coach students throughout the day to foster confidence and a love of learning.

This AmeriCorps role offers 37.5 hours per week, daytime hours, Monday–Friday, with a $17.94 per hour stipend and benefits such as health insurance, childcare assistance, and education benefits.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English for speaking, reading and writing
• Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email and navigating online)
• Dependable with a history of good attendance

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult who's focused on helping students thrive
• Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's onsite coach
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into tracking software
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training
• Share your experience with the community
