Job summary
Ampact is seeking Early Learning Tutors to join the Early Learning Corps within a U.S. pre-kindergarten classroom. You will help young students build early literacy and math skills, working with a teacher and an onsite coach to deliver proven activities and outcomes.
Positions run for the 2026-27 school year, with a part-time option. AmeriCorps compensation includes a $19/hour wage, health insurance, and education benefits. Training and coaching are provided to support your growth and impact.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English for speaking, reading and writing.
- Dependable and have a history of good attendance.
- Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
- Proficient with basic computer skills (email and online navigation).
Responsibilities
- Be a caring adult who's focused on helping students thrive.
- Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day.
- Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's onsite coach.
- Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into tracking software.
- Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
- Share your experience with the community.
