Ampact, in partnership with Early Learning Corps, seeks an Early Learning Tutor to support preschoolers in a hands-on classroom setting. You’ll engage in activities that build early literacy and math skills, with coaching to improve your teaching techniques.

The role emphasizes daily interaction with children, ongoing professional growth, and a commitment to student development, with part-time options available and a supportive AmeriCorps framework.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a solid attendance history.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks (email, basic online use).
• Fluent in English in speaking, reading & writing.
• 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day.
• Track student progress and meet with the school's on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores into tracking software.
• Commit to professional growth through coaching and training.
