Job summary

Join Early Learning Corps as an Early Learning Tutor in Minnesota, helping preschoolers build literacy and math skills in a pre-kindergarten classroom. You’ll be trained to deliver proven activities and coached every step of the way, partnering with a teacher to enhance learning through talking, reading, writing, singing, and play.

Full details include a 35-hour workweek during the school year, daytime hours, and a two-weekly AmeriCorps paycheck.

Qualifications

• Be present and reliable with good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and implement feedback.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks (email, online navigation).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 18+ years old with HS diploma or equivalent.
• U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with onsite coach.
• Enter student scores into tracking software.
• Commit to growth through coaching and training.
• Share experience with the community.
