Job summary

ampact organization offering Early Learning Tutor role in Minnesota. You will work in a pre-kindergarten classroom, delivering proven activities, coaching and supporting students to build early literacy and math skills.

AmeriCorps positions provide a paycheck stipend every two weeks, health insurance, child care assistance, and education benefits. Part-time hours are available; full-time positions run 35 hours weekly with days Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Dependable and have a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online).
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
• Able to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult who's focused on helping students thrive.
• Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's onsite coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into tracking software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
• Share your experience with the community.
