Akin is seeking an Early Learning Assistant to support comprehensive child development services in a Center setting. The role involves assisting teachers, preparing learning environments, and engaging with families to support children’s growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• TB test within past 12 months; negative proof if applicable.
• Proof of MMR vaccine or positive MMR titer.
• Criminal history background check with fingerprinting (MERIT).
• CPR and Pediatric First Aid within 30 days of hire.
• HIV/AIDS and Bloodborne Pathogen training within 30 days.
• Food Handler’s Permit within 30 days.

Responsabilités

• Assist in providing comprehensive child development services.
• Support Lead and Assistant teachers in activities and documentation.
• Help in preparing the learning environment and disinfecting materials.
• Engage with families and involve parents in the program.
• Assist with meals/snacks and family-style meals.
• Maintain records and documentation per standards.
• Participate in trainings and professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
