Easterseals Hawaii is seeking a Special Educator to support families using a Primary Service Provider model for children birth to age three with developmental delays. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and document outcomes and billing as required by DOH-EIS guidelines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work across home, day care, and community settings. Travel and in-person office presence are required.

Formación

• Experience with children who have developmental delays in early intervention is preferred.
• Knowledge of ADA and IDEA guidelines and inclusive practices.
• Ability to collaborate with families, professionals and paraprofessionals in a Primary Service Provider model.
• Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsabilidades

• Adheres to DOH-EIS, CARF and ESH guidelines for Early Intervention.
• Plans and implements a developmentally appropriate program for birth to age three.
• Participates as evaluator with a multidisciplinary team and supports families through evaluation.
• Administers and shares results from speech-language pathology assessments.
• Develops IFSP outcomes with family and team members.
• Provides coaching to families using a Primary Service Provider model.
• Maintains billable hours and records per DOH-EIS and regulatory requirements.
• Provides services in natural environments (home, daycare, community).
• Travels to multiple work sites as needed and reports in person 3–5 days/week.
