Easterseals Hawaii is hiring an Early Intervention Specialist to coordinate development monitoring and family education for children aged 0-3, in alignment with IFSP outcomes. The role emphasizes collaboration with the team and adherence to funder guidelines, with duties including billing, documentation, and family coaching.

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field and an active LSW/LCSW license, with at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited program.
• Active LSW or LCSW license required.
• 1 year minimum experience in professional social work preferred.
• Experience with early intervention for children with special needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates child development monitoring and intervention services for 0-3 years olds.
• Models strategies and provides education to families to promote child development.
• Collaborates to create and monitor child outcomes on the IFSP.
• Meets funder guidelines, timelines, and reporting requirements.
• Performs required billing and service plan documentation within timelines.
• Schedules home or telepractice visits based on family preference.
