Job summary

Easterseals Hawaii is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team and support families in early intervention using a Primary Service Provider model and evidence-based coaching techniques. You will assess, plan, and implement developmentally appropriate EI services for children birth to age three and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

In this role, you will report in person to our Hawaii offices 3–5 days per week, ensure productive, compliant service delivery, and engage families to set

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Hawaii Physical Therapy license.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• One year of PT experience in early intervention preferred.
• Knowledge of development delays and IDEA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to DOH-EIS, CARF and ESH guidelines.
• Participates in planning and implementing EI services for children birth to 3 years.
• Acts as evaluator and team member to determine EI eligibility.
• Produces PT assessments, sensory and developmental evaluations.
• Develops IFSP outcomes with families and team members.
• Maintains records per federal and state requirements.
• Provides services in natural environments (home, daycare, community).
• Supervises students/volunteers and coordinates training.
