Job summary

The Resource Exchange is seeking an Early Intervention Service Coordinator who will manage the entire EI process from referral to transition. You’ll maintain accurate records, coordinate evaluations, and ensure family rights are protected while engaging with families in a respectful, accessible manner.

You will collaborate with the evaluation team, support the Primary Provider and Coaching models, and coordinate with community partners to maximize resources and outcomes for children and families

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong advocacy skills.
• Good collaboration and teaming skills.
• Familiarity with the Colorado Springs community.
• Ability to speak and write clearly and effectively.
• Participate effectively in decision-making processes.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and good typing skills.
• Excellent organization skills and follow through.
• Frequent driving to community locations.

Responsibilities

• Describe the Early Intervention Program to families in an easy to understand, family-friendly way.
• Explain family rights under Part C and help families understand them.
• Ensure timelines and rights are protected according to state and federal regs.
• Maintain accurate child records and up-to-date state/agency databases.
• Coordinate evaluations and document results with the team.
• Collect parent concerns and health history to write meaningful plans and outcomes.
• Support models of service provision used by the program and coach team members.
• Keep the IFSP accurate and current.
