About The Role

The Service Coordinator ECI (Early Childhood Intervention) plays a pivotal role in supporting young children with developmental delays or disabilities and their families by coordinating comprehensive early intervention services. This position ensures that families receive timely access to appropriate resources, therapies, and support systems tailored to their unique needs. The coordinator acts as a liaison between families, service providers, and community agencies to facilitate effective communication and service delivery. By managing individualized service plans and monitoring progress, the Service Coordinator helps promote optimal developmental outcomes for children. Ultimately, this role contributes to empowering families and enhancing the quality of life for children during critical early stages of development.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, education, nursing, or a related human services field.
  • Experience working with young children and families, preferably in early intervention or special education settings.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and developmental disabilities.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and coordinate services effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification or training specific to Early Childhood Intervention programs.
  • Experience with state and federal regulations related to early intervention services.
  • Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish or other commonly spoken languages in the community.
  • Proficiency with case management software and electronic health records.
