Job summary

Wyoming Child and Family Development, Inc. is seeking a Teacher II for the Early Head Start program in Casper, WY. This role supports children birth to three by assisting in planning activities and preparing materials and environment for classroom and wrap-around services.

You will work 40 hours per week across 233 days per year, following WCFD and licensing guidelines, with duties including direct child interactions, IFSP support, and safety; CPR/First Aid required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED and be 18 years of age (state requirements).
• Required minimum Child Development Associate Credential or equivalent.
• Must be willing to attain additional training or certifications as required.
• WCFD will only accept college degrees from accredited institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily planning and preparation of classroom activities.
• Provide direct services to children, families, and staff in various settings.
• Ensure appropriate staffing and childcare services during the day.
• Implement lesson plans in different group settings.
• Assist in monitoring child progress and IFSP implementation.
• Maintain childcare and socialization areas per EHS/DFS guidelines.
