Job summary

Wyoming Child and Family Development, Inc. is seeking a Paraeducator for the Early Head Start program.

Base pay $15.59 per hour, 35 hours per week, 233 days per year, supporting children aged three to five and assisting the Lead Teacher with classroom setup and materials. You will deliver direct services, implement lesson plans, and provide individualized activities to foster social development and school readiness.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED and be 18 years of age.
• Must obtain a CDA within a specified time frame with training provided by WCFD.
• WCFD will require additional training or certifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Recruit children for the program following guidelines from DHHS and WCFD.
• Implements lesson plans in various group settings as directed.
• Deliver direct services to children, families, and staff in various settings.
• Communicate positively with staff, children, and families.
• Work with children who have behavioral concerns or developmental disabilities.
• Assist in organizing group socialization activities for children and families.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Provide individualized educational activities to support exploration and problem solving.
• Support IFSP/IEP goals with teachers, family support providers, and therapists.
• Keep classroom areas clean, organized, and safe.
