Job summary

Wyoming Child and Family Development is seeking a Substitute Paraeducator for Early Head Start in Cheyenne, WY. You will support a Lead Teacher, help prepare materials, and provide individualized care for infants and toddlers in our EHS program.

Responsibilities include recruiting participants, delivering direct services, and assisting with IFSP/IEP goals while maintaining a safe, organized classroom and completing all required paperwork on time.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED and be 18+ years old.
• Must obtain a CDA within a specified time frame; training provided.
• Degrees must be from accredited U.S. institutions recognized by the DoE.

Responsibilities

• Recruit children for the program per guidelines.
• Provide infant/toddler care based on development.
• Deliver direct services to children, families, and staff in various settings.
• Communicate positively with staff, children, families.
• Assist with group socialization activities.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Support IFSP/IEP goals with teachers and therapists.
• Keep classrooms clean, organized, and safe.
