Wyoming Child and FamilyDevelopment, Inc. is seeking a Substitute Paraeducator for Early Head Start in Cheyenne, WY. You will assist the Lead Teacher, prepare materials, and provide individualized care to infants and toddlers in a Head Start setting.

The role requires supporting IFSP/IEP goals, adhering to licensing and Head Start standards, and working with families to promote development in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and age 18+.
• Must obtain Child Development Associate Credential within a specified time frame.
• Additional trainings or certifications may be required by Wyoming Child and FamilyDevelopment, Inc.
• WCFD accepts degrees only from accredited institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Responsibilities

• Recruit children for the program according to guidelines from DHHS and WCFD.
• Provide infant/toddler care based on child development knowledge.
• Deliver direct services to children and families in various settings.
• Communicate positively with staff, children, and families.
• Assist in organizing group socialization activities for children and families.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Provide individualized educational activities to help children explore and build self-confidence.
• Support IFSP/IEP goals in collaboration with teachers and therapists.
