Position Summary

The Genesee Early College teacher is responsible for leading the instructional program and implementing activities for high school students. The teacher serves as an instructional and decision‑making member of the Genesee Early College team and is responsible for meeting the unique needs of students in the assigned area.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid Michigan secondary teacher certificate with major or minor in area to which assigned required.
  • Must meet requirements for highly qualified teachers as specified in No Child Left Behind.
  • Master’s degree in content area preferred.
  • Three or more years of successful teaching experience with diverse, underserved high school students preferred.

Pay Range:$46,600.00 – $90,934.00 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications

Paid Time Off:

  • Sick days – 10
  • Personal Business days – 3
