Job summary

Children of America seeks a Program Coordinator to support daily school operations, oversee classroom management, and implement age-appropriate curricula in alignment with COA policies. You will maintain records, generate regular reports, ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance, and assist in organizing events while serving as a senior on-site leader in the School Director's absence.

Qualifications

  • Meets state and COA age requirement.
  • Meets state regulations for Director Designee, Group Leader, or Lead Teacher.
  • Maintains state in-service training requirements.
  • Experience in childcare with management preferred.
  • Has CDA or degree in ECD or related field.

Job Purpose – Program Coordinator

The Program Coordinator at COA plays a vital role in supporting the school's day‑to‑day activities. This position involves overseeing classroom management, implementing age‑appropriate programs for children when necessary, and ensuring that our educational programs meet all company, state, and accreditation requirements. The Program Coordinator maintains records, generates daily/weekly/monthly reports, and ensures compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The Base pay rate range for this position is $21.00 to $25.00 hourly. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity. This role may also be eligible for performance‑based incentives or other benefits.
