University of Massachusetts Boston seeks an Early Childhood Leadership Coach to deliver coaching services as part of the leadership coaching team for Institute for Early Education Leadership and Innovation and related MA grant projects. The role oversees regional coaching delivery, supports program leaders to improve teaching and quality, and ensures compliance with grant requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field.
• 10+ years experience working in/with EEC-licensed early care and education programs including at least 3 years in ECE program leadership and administration.
• Graduate degree/Post Masters certificate in ECE preferred.
• Internal candidates only in the Professional Staff Bargaining Unit will be considered during the first 10 business days of the posting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coaching planning and delivery for Metro Boston or assigned region; implement Leadership Coaching Model.
• Use the coaching cycle of assessment, goal-setting, observation, implementation, feedback and reflection to build leadership capacity.
• Meet with coaches monthly for supervision and evaluation of progress.
• Train/supervise hourly contractual coaches in the assigned region.
• Ensure coaching content and practice comply with grant requirements.
• Devise systems to ensure accurate and timely reporting of coaching program data.
• Provide client-oriented service and support; collaborate with the project Coordinator and Training Specialist.
• Conduct outreach and maintain public relations within the community.
• Participate in required coach professional development activities.
• Record and submit coaching logs and data elements.
• Lead recruitment strategy to attract and retain participants and organizations.
