Job summary

Greater Lawrence Community Action Council, Inc. is seeking a Child Development Coach in Lawrence, MA to support teaching staff in implementing the Early Learning curriculum and to use CLASS-aligned practices for ongoing professional development.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Early Childhood Education with 3–5 years of classroom experience, coaching expertise, and a track record of collaborating with diverse families and community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience with young children in a classroom setting.
• Experience implementing the CSEFEL Pyramid Model preferred.
• Experience coaching and working with low income, culturally diverse, and at-risk families.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom staff in implementing the Early Learning curriculum.
• Coach and model effective practices for teachers; provide ongoing professional development.
• Conduct individual child observations to inform curriculum/behavior plans.
• Collaborate with staff and families to ensure curriculum and behavioral plans are implemented.
• Plan and deliver professional development with LEAP Director; track coaching activities.
• Assist with NAEYC Accreditation process and QRIS support.
• Maintain communication with LEAP Director and participate in trainings.
