Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Two years of experience teaching preschool/infants-toddlers plus two years of supervisory experience.
• DEEC Lead Teacher certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for beginning teachers in classroom management, curriculum, and parent communication.
• Coaching and mentoring to improve instructional practices and classroom quality.
• Conduct regular classroom observations using evidence-based tools (CLASS, ECERS-R, ITERS).
• Provide feedback meetings with goals and planning to improve teaching practices.
• Analyze observation data to support professional development and improvement of teaching practices.
• Establish a trustful, confidential relationship with teachers.
• Demonstrate innovative teaching methodologies through team teaching and demonstrations.
• Generate documentation to support coordinators and monitor classroom quality.
• Create feedback documents to support local education staff.
