Job summary

Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) is seeking a Head Start Supervisor of Special Services for the Division of Student Services. The role oversees screening, special education, and behavioral support services to ensure compliance with Head Start standards.

The position reports to the Head Start program with responsibilities across staff supervision, family support, and program improvement. A 260-day calendar and a starting salary range are provided, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Social Services, Human Resources, or a closely related field is required.
• Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of operating grants strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise screening, special education, and behavioral supports for Head Start children.
• Coach and supervise staff to ensure fidelity of specially designed instruction.
• Oversee behavior management and disability services in Head Start.
• Coordinate with ABA Clinics, Preschool Special Education, Behavior Consultants, and Data Specialists.
• Participate in data review and budget/grant development.
