Job summary

Save the Children US seeks an Early Childhood and Development Coach to work with the Manager, Education and Inclusion, providing technical assistance and coaching to Head Start and Early Head Start programs to ensure high-quality education services. This includes implementing a research-based curriculum while applying best practices in early childhood and special education.

You will train classroom staff, monitor progress, and consult with program leadership to resolve issues and ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in early childhood education with relevant teaching experience.
• Proven supervision and training experience.
• Experience with infants/toddlers and/or preschool-aged children.
• Knowledge of Head Start Program Performance Standards.
• Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Assess education staff and tailor coaching based on strengths and needs.
• Align teacher practices with school readiness goals and curricula.
• Conduct intensive coaching with observation and feedback.
• Provide professional development aligned with program goals.
• Establish fair policies around assessment and staff improvement.
