Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English.
• Ability to promote and foster effective working relationships with children, youth, and coworkers.
• Possess and maintain the physical ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds and over, sit and rise from the floor, walk, bend, and stoop and stand on a routine basis.
• Ability to satisfactorily complete Tier 1 background investigation and medical clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plans and executes early childhood education experiences to promote development.
• Works with staff to develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum.
• Establishes a program environment that promotes positive interactions.
• Lead activities for program participants and monitor safety.
• Maintain participation data and daily reports.
