The Learning Experience seeks an Assistant Teacher to join our team in a bustling childcare center. You will work closely with lead teachers to create a happy, safe classroom environment and to implement our LEAP curriculum across infant, toddler, and preschool groups.

Responsibilities include supporting daily activities, communicating with families, and ensuring developmentally appropriate care while upholding center standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; ECE coursework preferred.
• Experience in childcare or passion for early childhood education encouraged.
• Must meet state guidelines and health/safety training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Classroom Leadership: partner with teachers to create a stimulating, welcoming space.
• Curriculum Implementation: support teachers with L.E.A.P. Curriculum for infants to preschool.
• Safety First: maintain a safe, nurturing environment for children.
• Family Communication: update parents on progress using apps and in-person discussions.
• Center Collaboration: work with staff to drive retention, enrollment, engagement.
• Relationship Builder: foster warm relationships with families and colleagues.
