Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an entry-level Environmental or Civil Engineer to join our Water Services Group. This role offers recent graduates an opportunity to apply engineering skills to sustainable water projects and grow within a dynamic team.

Under direct supervision, you will support design, modeling, and reporting for water and wastewater infrastructure, with potential fieldwork during construction management activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 0 years of experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of water and wastewater treatment facilities, sewer systems, pipelines and related infrastructure.
• Conduct site assessments, adjust design parameters as needed, and perform water quality analyses and modeling.
• Create technical reports and presentations using tools like CADD, Excel and other software; assist in fieldwork for construction management activities.
