Job summary

Talkdesk is seeking an Associate Solutions Engineer to support the Solutions Engineering team in exploring AI-powered customer experience transformations and cloud contact center solutions.

You will collaborate with Account Executives, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and more to help customers understand value, tailor use cases, and deliver compelling demonstrations. This developmental role targets early talent ready to grow into a trusted technical advisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical, business, data, or communications field.
• Strong interest in technology, SaaS, AI, cloud software and digital transformation.
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain ideas clearly and adapt communication style for different audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to connect customer needs to solutions.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Solutions Engineers and Account Executives to support discovery, demos, and technical sales activities.
• Learn customer challenges, contact center operations, environments, and transformation goals.
• Assist in delivering product demonstrations showing Talkdesk value and outcomes.
• Support creation of demos, use cases, presentations, and technical documentation.
• Document customer requirements, objectives, technical needs, risks, and next steps.
• Develop knowledge of Talkdesk AI Platform, cloud contact center tech, integrations, and automation.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to support high-quality customer engagements.
• Participate in meetings, discovery sessions, demos, AI workshops, and enablement events.
• Explain technical concepts in a clear, business-focused way.
• Contribute to competitive positioning and internal demo assets.
• Grow skills in AI, automation, and enterprise integrations for customer experiences.
• Continue professional development through training and hands-on experience.
