Job summary

Talkdesk is hiring an Associate Solutions Engineer - Mixed Industries (West). This remote US role supports the Solutions Engineering team in helping customers understand how Talkdesk solutions can improve customer experience, modernize contact centers, and accelerate business outcomes.

You will work with AE, CS, Product, and AI engineering teams to build demonstrations and tailored use cases. The ideal candidate is curious, coachable, customer-focused, and eager to grow into a trusted technical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, data, communications, or related field; AI experience is strongly preferred.
• Interest in technology, customer experience, SaaS, AI, cloud software, contact centers or digital transformation.
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain ideas clearly and adapt communication for different audiences.
• Curiosity, coachability, initiative, and willingness to learn; a go-getter attitude.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Solutions Engineers and Account Executives to support discovery, demonstrations, and technical sales activities.
• Learn customer challenges, contact center operations, environments, and transformation goals.
• Help prepare and deliver product demonstrations showing Talkdesk solutions and outcomes.
• Support creation of customer demos, use cases, presentations, and technical docs.
• Document customer requirements, objectives, technical considerations, integration needs, risks, and next steps.
• Develop foundational knowledge of Talkdesk solutions, AI Platform, cloud technology, workflows, reporting, integrations, and automation.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to support high-quality customer engagements.
• Participate in customer meetings, discovery sessions, demos, AI workshops, and enablement sessions.
• Build confidence in explaining technical concepts in a business-oriented way.
• Support competitive positioning and internal enablement through content and assets.
