Herc Rentals is hiring for a ProSales Associate in the Early Career Sales Program in Livermore, CA. This entry-level role trains on sales, fleet management, and customer service while learning the equipment rental business.

You will engage with customers, coordinate deliveries, and support branch operations to grow revenue and gain industry knowledge. A strong work ethic and collaboration with sales teams are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of relatable experience.
• Must be fluent in Rental Man.
• Fluent with On the Go use.
• Proficient in DOT Regulations and load securement guidelines.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Proactively answer and resolve customer questions.
• Schedule delivery and pickup of equipment and partner with drivers.
• Optimize routing of drivers and comply with DOT regulations.
• Aid and support branch coordinators.
• Be a trusted partner to territory sales representatives.
• Manage a portfolio of customers.
• Maximize revenue through superior customer service on all orders.
• Finalize sales for inbound and outbound calls.
• Advise customers on equipment selection and maintenance.
• Generate, process, and review daily business reports.
• Support all team members.
• Build fluency with Fleet, Procurement, dashboards, and branch checklists.
• Act as local expert on Optimus and pricing practices.
• Assist others with Salesforce.com.
• Open accounts and prescreen customers using eApply.
