Job summary

One Medical, a leading primary care employer in Washington, D.C., seeks residents or fellows finishing training in 2026 or 2027 for a full-time role in our DC offices. You will work in a supportive, tech-enabled setting that emphasizes lasting patient relationships and ongoing learning.

You’ll manage a patient panel with acute, chronic, and preventive visits, conduct in-office or testing-center care, and participate in tele-health.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in, or completed within the last year, an accredited Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency program
• Must presently be a Board Eligible Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Resident, or have completed a Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Residency Program within the last calendar year and scheduled to take the next available Board Exam
• State licensed in Washington DC, obtained before your One Medical start date

Responsibilities

• Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
• Treating patients in-office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
• Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
• Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
• Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
• Supervising one or more NP or PA colleagues

Education

Family Medicine residency (accredited) - completed or in progress

Board Eligible/Resident status - Family Medicine / Internal Medicine / FM-IM-PI

DC State Medical License - before start
