WSP USA seeks an Early Career Electrical Engineer (ESSP) for our Freeport, Maine office, with consideration at Orlando, FL; Fort Mill, NC; Ann Arbor, MI; and Syracuse, NY. You will perform electrical studies and help develop SCADA systems for utility and industrial clients within the Power Delivery ESSP team.

Qualifications

• Must be a recent Engineering Graduate (Bachelor’s Degree).
• Analytical mindset with sound judgement in evaluating situations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engineering and non-engineering audiences.
• Ability to work independently and in teams to meet objectives.
• Basic proficiency with technical writing, spreadsheets, and related tools.
• Uphold safety policies and willing to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical studies and/or develop and troubleshoot SCADA systems for utility and industrial clients.
• Cover power systems including generation facilities, substations, transmission and distribution.
• Support senior engineers with research and recommendations on design requirements and field equipment.
• Write technical reports with findings and conclusions and create documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and travel to project sites as needed.
