AXIS Capital is seeking a North America E&S Property Claims Team Leader to direct a team of claims professionals, guiding investigations, coverage analyses, and dispute resolutions. You will partner with the Head of Specialty Complex Claims on complex matters, oversee quality reporting, and advance a people-first talent strategy.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
• Public profile and reputation for leadership and technical excellence.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across levels and with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
• Understand and balance immediate claim issues with portfolio impact and customer service.
• Excellent written and oral communication for conflicting expectations.
• Experience handling diverse loss scenarios, including CATs, with reporting to senior management.
• Willingness to travel for team management, broker/client meetings, and events.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop a team of claims professionals to deliver best-in-class service.
• Direct supervision of claims including investigation, analysis, and evaluation of coverage, liability, and damages.
• Collaborate with Head of Specialty Complex Claims on disputes, litigation, and arbitration matters.
• Ensure high-quality Claim Summary Reports are produced and used to improve customer service.
• Manage adherence to claim policies and procedures.
• Implement a people strategy for training and career development.
• Promote a professional environment aligned with AXIS values and business goals.
• Support underwriting inquiries, report trends, and provide risk assessments.
