Job summary

AXIS Capital is seeking an E&S Property Team Leader to oversee the North America Claims group and drive performance across complex property claims. You will mentor staff, establish governance, and guide a data-driven operating model to deliver best-in-class service to insureds and brokers.

You will collaborate with leadership to align claims strategy with underwriting and client needs, while promoting AXIS culture and professional development across the team.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of claims management leadership experience.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to analyze data and influence outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision and management of claims including investigation and evaluation.
• Collaborate with Head of Specialty Complex Claims on disputes.
• Ensure high-quality Claim Summary Reports are produced.
• Implement people strategies to improve bench strength and career paths.
• Lead a team to deliver best-in-class service and client engagement.
