Job summary

AXIS Capital is seeking an E&S Property Team Leader to join our North America Claims team. You will drive the quality and performance of complex property claims, mentor staff, and partner with stakeholders to deliver best-in-class service.

This role reports to the Head of E&S Property Claims and focuses on building a scalable operating model while advancing AXIS’s North America Claims value proposition. You will lead a team of claims professionals, foster collaboration with brokers, insureds,

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of claims management leadership experience.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Excellent analytical and data-driven mindset.
• Outstanding communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to coach and mentor team members.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision and management of claims incl. investigation, analysis and evaluation of coverage, liability and damages.
• Collaborate with Head of Specialty Complex Claims on complex matters.
• Ensure high-quality Claim Summary Reports and promote customer service excellence.
• Implement a people strategy to support training and career development.
• Lead and develop a team of claims professionals to deliver best-in-class service.
• Support underwriting inquiries and provide data analysis and risk assessments.
• Recruit, hire and retain top talent and build succession plans.
