AXIS Capital in the United States invites you to join our E&S Property Claims Team Leader, North America. You will lead a team of claims professionals, drive coverage analysis, and deliver best-in-class service to AXIS clients and brokers.

• Proven leadership and management experience in claims.

Responsabilidades

• Direct supervision and management of claims including the investigation, analysis and evaluation of coverage liability and damages, within best practices.
• Close collaboration with the Head of Specialty Complex Claims for matters involving coverage disputes, including litigation and arbitration initiated by Axis issuing companies and when Axis issuing companies are parties to such litigation.
• Ensures that high quality Claim Summary Reports are being effectively completed and managed by Claim Leadership team to promote customer service excellence.
• Ensures understanding and administration of claim policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with company and policy standards.
• Directly responsible for implementing a people strategy that supports training and skills improvement initiatives that achieve increased bench strength and improved career pathing.
• Provides leadership that encourages and supports a professional environment and promotes a business culture that leverages attainment of desired business results.
• Focus on resolution and process improvement, fulfilling all obligations while maximizing cost effectiveness, helping the Company understand drivers, trends and helping our partners attract and retain business.
• Supporting underwriting inquiries and information requests regarding policy construction and drafting, reporting claim trends, data analysis, and risk assessments.
• Actively coaching and mentoring direct reports, providing regular feedback, and developing employees for broader roles and responsibilities that support professional growth and development and working collaboratively with HR Business partner support and guidance.
• Recruit, hire and retain top talent and develop appropriate succession plans
• Build and maintain key relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., peers, Underwriting, Actuarial, various executive management leaders) and external stakeholders (e.g., brokers, insureds, attorneys, auditors, reinsurers, and vendors)
