Job summary

AXIS Capital is seeking an E&S Property Team Leader to join the North America Claims team. You will lead a group of claims professionals, ensuring quality investigations and reports, while guiding policy administration and performance management.

Reporting to the Head of E&S Property Claims, you will drive a data-driven operating model, engage with brokers and insureds, and build succession plans while promoting AXIS culture and values.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of claims management experience in leadership roles.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across organizational levels.
• Analytical and data proficiency to drive results.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision and management of claims including investigation, analysis and evaluation of coverage liability and damages.
• Collaborate with Head of Specialty Complex Claims on disputes, litigation, arbitration.
• Ensure high-quality Claim Summary Reports and governance of claim policies.
• Lead and develop teams, drive training, succession planning and bench strength.
• Support underwriting inquiries, report trends, risk assessments and communications with stakeholders.
