Located in Gaylord, Minnesota, Michael Foods, Inc. is in Minnesota's Healthy Heartland. Gaylord is in south-central Minnesota, about an hour west of the Twin Cities and 35 minutes from Mankato, Hutchinson, and New Ulm. As the County Seat, Gaylord is known as the "Hub of Sibley County." Our facility produces liquid egg, hard-cooked egg, and pre-cooked egg products such as scrambled eggs, patties, and omelets.
Summary: The E & I Technician (Electrical & Instrumentation Technician) provides electrical maintenance and reliability services within the plant, focusing on asset health and safety improvements. This role involves collaborating with the MFI ARM team, maintenance staff, operations, suppliers, and other support teams to ensure success. Key responsibilities include executing electrical/instrumentation PM, PDM, RCM, and operator care programs, as well as equipment installation, troubleshooting, startups, and process improvements. The technician must maintain current licensure (e.g., Electrical Journeyman or Maintenance Electrician) and adhere to safety and food safety policies, working scheduled hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
Education and Experience:
Must be able to talk, listen, stand, walk, and lift up to 60 pounds. Visual and sensory abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception. The environment may be noisy and temperature-variable. Accommodations can be provided for disabilities.
The pay range for this position is $27.00 to $37.25 per hour.
