Job summary

Saulsbury Engineering is seeking a detail-oriented Document Control/Turnover specialist to organize and review reports, build turnover dossiers, and track construction progress on Oil & Gas projects. The role requires familiarity with E&I drawings, BOMs, and project specifications, with travel to sites as needed.

You will maintain QC manuals, audit logs, and document workflows, manage client/vendor files, and ensure timely, accurate documentation across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ Oil & Gas industry experience needed.
• Ability to work with little supervision; self-starter and motivated.
• Ability to understand isometric drawings, including E&I, piping fitting, BOM, and spec breaks.
• Must be willing to travel and available to spend time on project sites.
• Well organized, detail-oriented, and good communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, demonstrate initiative, and handle multiple project group document requirements under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Organize incoming reports and documents and review them for accuracy.
• Review inspection reports/documents and file them into turnover dossiers by area.
• Build turnover dossiers per I&E inspector direction.
• Build instrument loop folders.
• Track E&I construction progress.
• Maintain documents daily by inserting them into turnover dossiers.
• Maintain code books, project specifications, and regulations according to the QC Manual and contract.
• Audit dossiers and logs to identify errors and missing reports.
• Upload documents to the QC server.
• Identify workflow delays or issues and report them to the supervisor.
• Manage the Saulsbury Engineering FTP site for required projects.
• Track and maintain client, vendor, and NDE documents.
• Maintain efficient vendor and client document workflow.
• Report to the E&I WC Divisional Manager.
