About the Role

Our client, a fast-paced online retailer, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented E-commerce Operations & Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Welkom, Free State . This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods from order placement to final delivery. You will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating with third-party logistics providers, optimizing shipping processes, and resolving any operational issues that may arise. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of e-commerce fulfillment and supply chain management, with a proven ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining in-office responsibilities with the flexibility of remote work.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily e-commerce order fulfillment operations, ensuring timely processing and dispatch.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock takes, and coordinate with suppliers for restocking.
• Liaise with shipping carriers and third-party logistics (3PL) partners to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery.
• Monitor shipping performance metrics and identify areas for improvement in transit times and costs.
• Process returns and exchanges efficiently, maintaining accurate records.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues related to order fulfillment, shipping, or inventory.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all e-commerce operations and logistics functions.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains.
• Collaborate with customer service teams to address shipping-related customer inquiries and concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in e-commerce operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and order fulfillment processes.
• Experience working with shipping carriers and third-party logistics providers.
• Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms and inventory management software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
