Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Store e-Commerce Operations Leader in Plymouth, MI to manage day-to-day operations of the store’s e-Commerce department and drive sales, customer satisfaction and budgets. This role focuses on staffing, coaching, and upholding Kroger’s values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

You will ensure prompt order fulfillment, optimize product flow, lead associates, comply with laws and food safety procedures, and push e-Commerce

Responsibilities

• Ensure e-Commerce meets customer expectations for easy shopping, variety, freshness and cleanliness.
• Meet product flow demands and create schedules per guidelines.
• Develop associates to meet productivity standards and certify when goals are met.
• Ensure compliance with laws and food safety procedures.
• Train associates on order selector and customer attendant roles.
• Lead the team in planning, implementing and executing e-Commerce initiatives.
• Achieve weekly, period and annual sales and wage budgets; boost customer satisfaction.
• Assist in analyzing the competitive landscape.
• Ensure orders are filled with requested or suitable substitutes timely.
• Implement best practices for substitutions when items are out of stock.
• Streamline collection of orders, products, checkouts and delivery.
• Report inventory issues promptly to department heads.
• Troubleshoot equipment for the e-Commerce department.
• Provide feedback to management on effectiveness of plans.
• Monitor and control department expenses.
• Ensure preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Supervise and coach direct reports; conduct performance reviews.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
