Job summary

Kroger in Nashville is seeking a Store e-Commerce operations assistant to support the Store e-Commerce manager with day-to-day activities and to help ensure accurate, timely order fulfillment while upholding Kroger's values of respect, integrity, and safety.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong communication skills, basic computer literacy, the ability to read shelf tags, and a customer-service mindset. You will train and coordinate team members and handle routine operational tasks.

• Self-directed with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness and cleanliness.
• Ensure team follows local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Perform responsibilities of selectors and customer attendants as needed.
• Train all functions and duties of selector and customer attendant roles.
• Act as the person in charge of the e-Commerce department when the Store e-Commerce manager is unavailable.
• Assist with scheduling to meet operational and associates' needs.
• Maintain intake of customer orders and distribute work to selectors and attendants.
• Print and distribute order labels, including perishable orders.
• Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices.
• Maintain supplies and organization of staging areas and equipment.
• Report pricing, scanning, item location discrepancies and temperature type issues.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Learn and implement process improvements from e-Commerce teams.
• Provide feedback on daily and annual performance.
