Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Store e-Commerce Assistant to support daily operations of the store's e-Commerce department. You will help ensure a smooth shopping experience with a focus on variety, freshness, and cleanliness, while adhering to safety and legal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience is required.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to perform basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Self-directed with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness and cleanliness.
• Ensure team members follow laws, safety procedures and guidelines.
• Perform responsibilities required of selectors and customer attendants as needed.
• Train all functions of selector and customer attendant roles.
• Act as the person in charge of the e-Commerce department when the Store e-Commerce manager is unavailable.
• Assist with scheduling to meet operational and associates’ needs.
• Maintain intake of customer orders and assign work to staff.
• Print and distribute order labels, including perishable orders.
• Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices.
• Maintain supplies and staging areas.
• Report discrepancies and pricing issues to the store e-Commerce manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Learn and implement process improvements as directed.
• Provide feedback on team members’ performance and reviews.
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment and manage conflict.
• Maintain honesty and integrity with customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
• Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
