Job summary

Smith's Food & Drug Centers is seeking an e-Commerce order selector to assemble online orders with attention to freshness and quality. You will process coupons, manage payments, and load orders into customers' cars for pickup at the Henderson store.

Responsibilities include ensuring order accuracy, following substitutions guidelines, and maintaining clean staging areas. Excellent communication and basic math are required to handle POS transactions and customer interactions effectively.

Qualifications

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Experience in a production oriented or warehouse environment is a plus.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for easy shopping, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive customers' orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones.
• Initiate and complete selection process for customers' on-line orders.
• Read and follow directions in the note section.
• Ensure quality and freshness of all items chosen.
• Communicate with customers via portable phone; respond professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assemble customers' on-line orders; process coupons and payment.
• Load orders into customers' cars; ensure order accuracy.
• Process orders through the POS system.
• Follow substitutions policy when items are out of stock.
• Scan and bag orders; keep staging areas clean and organized.
• Notify supervisor of pricing, scanning, or location discrepancies.
• Assist training of new e-Commerce team members.
• Meet productivity standards; perform opening/closing procedures.
