Job summary

829 Studios is a Boston-based integrated digital marketing agency seeking an E-Commerce Email Marketing Strategist.

This mid-level, client-facing role focuses on Klaviyo setup, automated workflows, and performance optimization, partnering with Client Services, Web, Paid Search, and Paid Social teams to deliver measurable ecommerce results.

You will own campaigns from concept to deployment, communicate findings clearly, and contribute thought leadership on email and automation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of email marketing experience, agency experience preferred.
• 2 years of Klaviyo experience at a minimum.
• Experience leading and executing strategy for an E-commerce brand.
• Familiar with marketing automation platforms like Marketo, MailChimp, Active Campaign, HubSpot, Braze.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and high client satisfaction.
• Experience with client engagements around marketing automation, email marketing, and/or lead generation.
• Experience in digital advertising and related technologies.
• Data-driven analytics mindset with reporting skills.
• Interest in mentoring others.
• Proactive, team-oriented attitude.
• Experience building and managing campaigns with lead generation and nurturing.
• SMS experience in Sakari and Attentive

Responsibilities

• Execute lifecycle marketing plans to meet schedules, performance, and budget goals.
• Review monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
• Manage all elements of email marketing initiatives, calendars, and programs.
• Own client relationships and define campaign vision with the team.
• Ensure timely deployment of targeted email campaigns.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams.
• Identify issues and propose solutions to campaigns or projects.
• Lead email marketing thought leadership within the team.
