Job summary

829 Studios is seeking a mid-level E-commerce Email Marketing Strategist to join our Inbound Team. You will own Klaviyo-based lifecycle campaigns, craft automated workflows, and lead client conversations on performance and technical setup.

You will collaborate with Client Services, Web, Paid Search, and Paid Social teams to define strategy and execution. You will proactively manage programs, review monthly performance, and drive data-driven optimization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of email marketing experience, agency experience strongly preferred.
• 2 years of Klaviyo experience at a minimum.
• Experience leading and executing strategy for an E-commerce brand.
• Familiarity with marketing automation tech: Marketo, MailChimp, Active Campaign, HubSpot, Braze, etc.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and high customer satisfaction.
• Experience with marketing automation, email marketing, and lead generation.
• Experience in digital advertising and related technologies.
• Data-driven insights and reporting experience.
• Interest in mentoring others and client education.
• Willingness to immerse in client business and learn quickly.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication with clients.
• Initiative and team-oriented mindset.
• Experience building and managing campaigns with lead gen and nurture strategies.

Responsibilities

• Execute lifecycle marketing plans to meet schedules, performance, and budget goals.
• Review monthly performance reports and present wins and recommendations.
• Maintain strong organization, manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Identify issues and propose solutions to campaign or project gaps.
• Manage all elements of email marketing initiatives, programs, and calendars.
• Create and implement email calendars integrated with other marketing initiatives.
• Own client relationships and align campaign vision with the team.
• Ensure timely deployment of all targeted email campaigns.
• Multitask, prioritize, and coordinate activities for agile deadlines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams.
• Own email marketing thought leadership within the team.
