Job summary

Kroger in Sterling Heights, MI, is seeking a Store e-Commerce Department Supervisor to assist the Store e-Commerce manager in day-to-day operations. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction, safety, and adherence to company standards in a fast-paced store setting.

The position involves training staff, scheduling, and maintaining order fulfillment while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and policies. On-site work with opportunities for process improvements and team feedback.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
• Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, subtraction).

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness and cleanliness.
• Ensure team members adhere to laws, food safety procedures and guidelines.
• Perform responsibilities required of selectors and customer attendants as needed.
• Train all functions and duties of the selector and customer attendant roles.
• Act as person in charge of e-Commerce department when Store e-Commerce manager is unavailable.
• Assist with scheduling to meet operational and associates’ needs.
• Maintain intake of customer orders and distribute work to selectors and attendants.
• Print and distribute order labels, including perishable orders.
• Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices.
• Maintain supplies and organize staging areas and equipment.
• Report discrepancies to store e-Commerce manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Learn and implement process improvements from e-Commerce teams.
• Provide feedback on daily performance and annual reviews.
• Work cooperatively in high-paced environments and manage conflicts professionally.
• Handle customer and business information with honesty and integrity.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
• Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as required.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
