Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Store e-Commerce Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the store's e-Commerce department in Waynesboro, VA. You will help ensure an excellent shopping experience, supervise team members, and handle scheduling and order processing.

The role requires basic computer and math skills, prior supervisory experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. On-site responsibilities include training, order fulfillment, and adherence to safety and company

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience required.
• Ability to read shelf tags and understand pricing.
• Basic computer skills and math abilities are expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store e-Commerce manager with day-to-day operations.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for shopping experience.
• Ensure team adheres to laws, food safety procedures and guidelines.
• Train selectors and customer attendants in duties.
• Act as in-charge when manager is unavailable.
• Assist with scheduling to meet operational needs.
• Manage intake of customer orders and assign work.
• Print and distribute order labels, including perishable orders.
• Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices.
• Maintain supplies and keep staging areas organized.
• Report discrepancies in pricing, scanning, and item location.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Implement process improvements per e-Commerce team guidance.
• Provide daily and annual performance feedback to team.
