Job summary

Kroger Co. is seeking a Store e-Commerce Assistant to help manage daily operations of the store's e-Commerce department in Steamboat Springs. You will support scheduling, order intake, labeling, and equipment troubleshooting while ensuring safety and policy adherence.

Responsibilities include training staff, acting as in-charge when the manager is unavailable, and implementing process improvements as directed by the division e-Commerce team. Strong customer-service focus is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum supervisory experience.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Self-directed with ability to execute projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store e-Commerce manager in day-to-day operations of the e-Commerce department.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for easy shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Ensure adherence to laws, safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Train selectors and customer attendants on duties and responsibilities.
• Act as in-charge when Store e-Commerce manager is unavailable.
• Support with scheduling to meet operational needs and staff availability.
• Manage intake of orders and assign work to staff.
• Print/distribute order labels, including perishables.
• Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices.
• Maintain supplies and organization of staging areas and equipment.
• Report discrepancies to the store e-Commerce manager.
• Perform opening/closing procedures.
• Suggest process improvements from e-Commerce team guidance.
• Provide feedback on daily and annual performance.
