Join to apply for the e-COMMERCE/DEPARTMENT LEAD role at Kroger

Assist the Store e-Commerce manager in managing the day-to-day operation of the store's e-Commerce department. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Responsibilities:

  1. Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness and cleanliness.
  2. Ensure team members adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
  3. Perform responsibilities required of selectors and customer attendants as needed.
  4. Train all functions and duties of the selector and customer attendant roles.
  5. Act as the person in charge of the e-Commerce department when the Store e-Commerce manager is unavailable.
  6. Assist with scheduling to meet operational and associates’ needs.
  7. Maintain the intake of customer orders and distribute and assign work to selectors and customer attendants.
  8. Print and distribute order labels, including orders for perishable departments.
  9. Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices.
  10. Maintain supplies needed to perform duties.
  11. Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
  12. Report discrepancies in pricing, scanning, item location, and temperature types.
  13. Perform opening and closing procedures.
  14. Implement process improvements as directed by division or enterprise e-Commerce team.
  15. Provide feedback on team members' performance.
  16. Work cooperatively in high-paced and stressful environments.
  17. Manage conflict in a reasonable and cooperative manner.
  18. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
  19. Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary.
  20. Support and assist with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
  21. Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • Proven supervisory experience.
  • Ability to read shelf tags.
  • Basic knowledge of computers.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Self-directed with minimal supervision.

Desired:

  • Experience in production or warehouse environments, stocking, or cashier roles.
