Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Tallahassee is seeking an Associate Team Leader to support the Team Leader in delivering exceptional customer service and overseeing checkout, grocery delivery, and pickup operations. You will drive safety, efficiency, and program execution while coordinating with store leadership and partners.

Qualifications

• 18+ months retail experience including 6+ months of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers outstanding customer experience; holds Team Members accountable for service.
• Establishes clear expectations for balancing in-store customer service and online orders.
• Monitors in-store and online customer flow; assigns tasks balancing needs of all customers.
• Monitors schedule to meet in-store demand, online order capacity and labor budget.
• Supports relationships with department leaders, store leadership, and partners like Amazon delivery drivers.
• Fosters a positive environment of teamwork, respect, and morale.
• Maintains team member safety and security standards.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Develops, coaches, mentors, and motivates Team Members to reduce turnover.
• Maintains cleanliness of workspaces and equipment security.
• Identifies process improvement opportunities.
• Communicates and models WFM values and leadership principles.
