Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an E-Commerce Sales Associate to interact with hundreds of customers online, over the phone, and in person to guide their vehicle purchases in our no-haggle environment. You will respond to leads promptly, provide information, and help guide customers from phone and internet contact to an in-store experience while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

The role emphasizes strong communication, a desire to help people, and the ability to follow up with customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience, retail preferred.
• Strong communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.

Responsibilities

• Interact with online, phone, and in-person customers to guide vehicle purchases in a no-haggle environment.
• Respond to leads promptly and convert inquiries into in-store visits.
• Provide information and help customers select vehicles and negotiate terms to fit budgets.
• Follow up post-purchase to drive loyalty and smooth transitions to the Service department.
